Did anyone see the Cardinals / Mets game from Wednesday Night?
No, I didn't see it either. I'm not a sports fan, in fact the only sport's team I follow are the Indianapolis Colts. But I caught this story from another blog entry about a Mets third baseman who made an honorable choice.
I guess there were some questionable attitudes and actions that night at America's favorite passtime. The Mets pitcher sent a shot at one of the Cardinals' players and in retaliation then, the Cardinal pitcher sent one straight for David Wright's head. Here's the video of the pitch.
David Wright could have done what most players do, and it looked like he thought about it as he took a couple of steps toward the mound. But obviously his "blueberry" voice told him to show great restraint. For that, he gets a wholesome "well done" from me.
